Renovated Military Armory becomes Performing Arts and cultural center with natural acoustics!

The Armory was built in 1921 to store arms and military equipment and to serve as headquarters for Company K of the Colorado National Guard. The building was renovated in 2008 to become a cultural center and now hosts many regional arts performances. The floors, beautiful wood rafters and footprint of the Armory Performing Arts Center remain true to the original. This is an amazing place to hear live music because of the natural acoustics of the building and the excellent sound system.
