El Chapultepec | Denver

We’re playing at Denver’s El Chapultepec (aka The Pec), one of the city’s oldest and most revered live music venues! I have wanted our band to play here for quite a while, but all good things take time. The Pec has quite a list of bands waiting to grace its tiny stage. No, not for the fancy atmosphere – The Pec is unapologetically a bar and hasn’t changed much over the years. They are all about the music and have been since 1933.

The Pec has seen some of the country’s best jazz acts, including Count Basie, Doc Severinsen, Wynton Marsalis, Branford Marsalis, and we could go on forever. It has been a famous Denver jazz venue since owner Jerry Krantz took over and put it on the map. Even Jack Kerouac and his entourage used to hang here in the early 50’s. So I’m beyond thrilled to step foot on that little stage and add our names to the list of musicians we admire so much.
