HERmonious Shows in March!

by

HERmonious at Nissi's

I’m super excited to be singing with an amazing all-female band, HERmonious. Our first shows of 2016, will be on March 19 at Nissi’s and March 26 at Ziggies.

The band features some of my favorite women musicians in Colorado. Woohooo!!

  • Jodi Woodward, bass player for Erik Boa & the Constrictors and winner of the Mile High Blues Society’s International Blues Challenge (IBC) 2014. Winner of Colorado Blues Society’s (CBS) “Best Bass Player” 2012, 13, and 15.
  • Jessica Rogalski of Mojomama, winner of 2015 Best Female Vocalist and Best Arranger for band (Colorado Blues Society Favorite Awards). She’s also the voice instructor and owner of Mojo’s Music Academy, a great resource for musicians of all ages.
  • Jill Watkins, a well-known Colorado vocalist with some powerful pipes. Jill is lead vocalist for funk and jazz band, FUNK KNUF and has enough projects to make your head spin: the Jill Watkins Band, Jockamo, and George Whitesell and his All-Stars to name a few.
  • Eef, the tall-Dutch-girl-with-the-red-guitar! Her bands include Eef and the Blues Express and Eef of Destruction. Winner of Colorado Blues Society’s International Blues Challenge in 2014, also CBS Members’ Choice Award for ‘Best Songwriter’ in 2012.
  • Nancy MacLean, pianist, composer and singer extraordinaire. Nancy was trained classically and shares her talents across numerous projects, including the Bluezzers band. She teaches piano full time, performs solo at many events, and composes jazz and blues music.
  • Stacey Turpenoff, winner of 2013 Rocky Mtn. Battle of the Bands in 2013 to open for Leann Rimes! She currently sings with the John Weeks Band, Eef of Destruction, and AudioFreeqz. Stacy has opened for countless local and national acts.
  • Shannon Spencer, drummer with a long, long list of credits and projects going back to the age of 12. Shannon currently plays drums for the Rhythm All Stars. She has played with numerous local and national acts from Randall Dubis to Roger “Hurricane” Wilson.

I’m really honored to be a part of this band and highly encourage you to come out. I’ll be singing songs you haven’t heard me do with other bands, and we’re all really excited to share some great music with you. HERmonious will only be doing a few shows in 2016 due to all of our schedules with our regular bands so please don’t miss them!    >> Get Your Tickets here <<

    • Hi Sean – Sorry I didn’t see your comment until just now. I’m so glad you liked the Nissi’s show. We had a great time too! That was our first show of 2016, and my first one with HERmonious, so I think the music will just get better as we do more shows. Hope to see you again.
