Two New Songs by Cass Clayton and David Snider

It’s been a music-filled summer with two new songs born: “Woman In The Way” and “Fell From Grace” both written collaboratively by me and David Snider and recorded in Geoff Gray’s Far & Away Studios in Lafayette. These are the first two songs (released as singles) for an upcoming EP that I’m really excited about. Being in Geoff’s studio was like being in my living room – he just makes everything feel easy and comfortable for everyone, and the sound in there is amazing. He has some unique equipment, gear and more than a few recording secrets that helped along the way. David Snider is a friggin’ genius – he was the producer of the project and also played lead guitar, bass, Hammond organ, piano, and arranged the music while I came up with the melodies, played slide guitar and sang. Yippeeee!
Please take a listen when you have a moment and better yet PLEASE break out the two bucks and buy both songs so I can earn some money and get back in the studio! Also, if you’re so inclined, I would be extremely grateful if you would leave feedback for me in the store once you hear the songs. It would mean a lot to me to know what you like and don’t like as I go back into creative land to write more.
On another note, I’m also in the midst of writing songs with Dann Burke and Taylor Scott for a Hogback Blues Band EP to begin in the near future. So there’s not any moss growing under our feet this summer! Can’t wait to share those with you in the near future as well.
